I bought these to replace the comic oval eyes, unfortunately the comic are not very safe as the larger part of the eye, which is oval, is unsupported so makes it possible to snag or pull on the eyes when installed especially if on a non flat base ie. a round shaped head. I bought the displayed ones in stead and they are great – incidentially I thought they would make great eyes for Minions as they have a round raised edging. Going to try some when I get time! These are very nice quality even though a little different than normal with the raised edge – I liked them very much and have installed them in my gollies.
